Yesterday our jazz band performed for the CMEA Jazz festival at De La Salle. BTW De La Salle is a Catholic boy's school, with SUPER fine boys. Too bad it was all dark and empty at 5:30pm :( On the bright side, I had tons of fun with my fellow band geekies and didn't screw up my piece (too badly)
Methinks jazz band is def my favorite class... I mean who wouldn't like to hide behind the piano, do homework, listen to jazz, AND get an A+ for it... tehee :) Oh and our teacher Mr. Johnson's pretty amazing too. Always so kind, funny, and encouraging (even when he's pissed off). Ah yes what an inspirational musician.
P.S. may I also add that FINALZ ARE OVER RAWWRR! I guess they weren't too bad.. except now I'm scared to log onto the school site cuz... I dun wanna know what I got, lol! Anyways, 2nd Semester = time to lazy it up again (aka spend excessive amounts of time on the computer) (how unfortunate for you, my dear reader)
